The Grenade

The Grenade is for those players who hold their sticks constantly at its hilt. Maybe the guys who are into Metal, Indie, Rock ‘n’ Roll or just straight players. The way this grip sits in the palm of the hand is remarkable. I love this grip. When I play using this grip I feel like the stick is an extension of my hand and arm and never worry about losing my stick under hot and humid gig conditions. Of course if you want to throw your stick to a fan or audience member, that’s a way of parting company with the Grenade… just make sure you shout “Grenade!!!”. This grip is for the medium to large stick like a 5B. It fits tightly onto 5B and 2B sticks, but a small amount of tape needs to be used to secure if your sticks are 5A (14mm).
